Co-parenting therapy goals are the same as those for Parenting Coordination, which is primarily to assist the parents in resolving child related issues, improve the co-parenting relationship, and reduce the potential for future parental conflict. Collaborative Law
Dr. Antonio is a trained Collaborative Law Psychologist. A collaborative divorce is a family and child focused innovative approach to divorce. It is designed to help familys find mutually beneficial and respectful resolutions without going to court. In collaborative law, your case is not decided by a judge unfamiliar with your family's circumstances. In this team approach to divorce, couples work with their attorneys and financial and mental health professionals to resolve pertinent issues and come to an agreement. You meet with your collaborative team in a private office, not a court room. This gives you the ability to discuss your unique situation confidentially in order to arrive at mutually agreeable settlement. This can be a cost-effective alternative to a traditional courtroom divorce where a settlement is reached through litigation.
